X# Summit 2023 - Wrap up

15 October 2023

The X# Summit in Memmingen has ended last Friday.
We can look back at 2 days full of interesting sessions.
It was good to see many familiar faces.

The X# development team was present with all four developers.
Fortunately, Chris was also present again, after having been away for 12 years.
We have looked back at the last year and forward to what's to come next year.
Photos and the "roadmap" will be published here later this week.

We will also upload the presentations and examples to our download area (for the attendees).
If you attended the event and do not have a registered user account on this website, create one now, so we can grant you download rights to the material.

We plan to do a similar event next year, middle October, in the South of Germany.
We have not made a final decision about the location. Stay tuned for more information.

We're also finalizing the beta test of X# 2.18. With a little luck, we will be able to release that build end of this week.

It was great for us to meet you again and we look forward to the next time. Talking with you guys is always a pleasure and helps us not only to understand where X# is going, but also to express some wishes and say you what we like to see in future versions.

I also enjoyed the conference, all the sessions, meeting other developers, the fact that everybody from the team was there and the location too.

Are the presentations already uploaded? And the roadmap too? (since I had to leave earlier, I missed the closing session).

I am not eagerly awaiting the .Net 8 version of X#, but it would be good know if we can except this version in 2024.

      Regards,

      Peter

PS: I have attached a picture from the evening session where Fabrice was flying the X# drone;)
