The object Align dialog allows you to control the position of report objects relative to the report margins and band positions.  You can also use the dialog to center an object in its band.

 

 

 

If multiple objects are selected when the dialog is displayed, you can align and size the objects relative to each other.  This is a very nice feature when you want to left align several objects or when you want multiple objects to have the same dimension.

 

To perform the alignment procedure, check the desired option(s) using the mouse and press the OK button.
