Another very valuable reference is the Microsoft Jet Database Engine Programmer's Guide, a book published by Microsoft Press that we recommend to everybody who wants to do serious Jet programming. This book is included in a digital form with MSDN.

If you can read the C++ sample code the DAO SDK, also from Microsoft, can be very valuable. Actually we based some of our samples on samples from this SDK. This SDK also comes with MSDN and with Visual Studio.

There is of course the Internet. Microsoft's Web site is loaded with articles and tips Look at http://www.microsoft.com/data and at http://www.microsoft.com/accessdev for more information.

Finally there are some newsgroups about Jet and DAO: microsoft.public.vb.database.dao and microsoft.public.access.modulesdaovba, and you also find some information in all the other news groups about Access.,Visual basic and Visual C++
