I just came across this site while doing a search for some GUI enahancements for VO 2.8. I have ot agress with some other posters about the poor handling of the marketing of both VO and Vulcan, such a cool name to let go to waste.

I hav a large product base on my CAVO 2.8 source that would be nice to give them hope that I can bring them into the modern OSes easier.

Part of my challenge with migrating to anyhting is that some of the oldest code is best practices challenged with many undeclared and/or masked globals. And worse uses some 3rd party libraries that just don't exist anymore. One of which was required as the VO 1.0 and 2.0 DBF libraries had memory leaks and lock issues resulting in lost records.
