Latest CHM download - 'ClickStartXSharp'

Phil,
i think it is enough to put some hint in the beginning of the "list", how to unblock - this should be visible without any user interaction.

@Wolfgang: well, most websites you visit use javascript and one has to allow it running, if one wants to work. I don't see, why especially a chm from a known source <g> should pose a special risk...

Hi Karl,

it is a different thing if a Javascript runs in a Browser sandbox or in a local program - in the latter it has full access to the disk.

OK guys,

Version 134 of the 'XSharp' eNotes is now posted on my OneDrive for you to download if you so wish.

I have used the same link as shown here to do a successful download at my end.

Remember you will probably still have to use Properties to change the security setting as friend Karl as posted near here.

I have added quite a lot of stuff, and if you wish to have a fun read then look at the topic of "Strings and the alternative use of Escaping. There is far more to strings in todays world of .NET and X# than you may realise ;-0)

Any problems with downloading then please let me know.

All the Best Seasonal Wishes,
Phil.

P.S. I give you the information to allow you to start typing Welsh - it needs special characters.

Phil,
link is missing ;)
Or, if you meant the "old" one from a prior page, that one does want to work anymore, too - but could also be a result of new Firefox/NoScript...

thanks Karl,

I did mean that the earlier one should work (was guessing) but here now is a newly generated one just in case.

https://1drv.ms/f/s!AiCBl-gBWjY9hcxoOaI3domPJifO4g

Does this mean that the earlier one will no longer work OR will they both work - new FireFox issues ignore / overlooked / by-passed !?

In fact trying to compare the above with the previous one, they seem to be the same - I think.

Anyway better luck at second try ;-0)

Thanks for helping out with your feed-back.

Cheers,
Phil.

Hi Phil,
this one did work at once, didn't need additional scripting rights in browser...
As usual, file properties had to be "defused" to show the content in the chm.

Thx for providing!
